Title: 840-Cisco Network/Systems Admin (All Shifts)

Location: Downey, CA

Pay Rate: $40 - $50

Contract Duration: 1 year

OT Rate: Straight Time (Exempt)

Estimated Regular Hours/Week: 40.00

Background and Eligibility: Clear background, drug test, and education check; authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship. Principal only, no Corp to Corp.

Cisco ATA, Cisco ACI, Cisco APIC, Cisco Prime, Cisco VoIP Call Manager, CACTI, eCloud, Elastic Search, ITM, Open NMS, nGenius, McAfee, MVISION, Net Scout, SCOM, UTR, Struxure Ware, Secure Works WAF toolset, Wireshark, and WebCTRL. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, customer service, interpersonal, and detail‑oriented skills;
Microsoft Office proficiency; effective written and oral communication in English.

• 3 years of experience utilizing complex large‑scale network infrastructure devices, including Cisco enterprise or carrier‑class routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, wireless controllers/access points, and Cisco Nexus switches.
• 2 years of experience utilizing enterprise‑level monitoring tools such as OpenNMS, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Prime Collaboration, Net Scout nGenius, Route Explorer, Elastic Search, SCOM, vROPS, Secure Works, Dynatrace, Uptime Robot, IBM Tivoli, WebCTRL, CACTI, Struxure Ware, and Cherwell system.
• 2 years of experience using Windows servers, Linux servers, and IBM Mainframe z/OS operating systems.

• Certification of CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Local candidates only. This position will be a hybrid schedule after the selected candidate completes onsite training of 4‑8 weeks. The role is a 24/7 IT enterprise environment. Shifts include morning, swing, and graveyard – the selected candidate must be willing to accept different shifts.

Shifts:

• Morning Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• Swing Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Grave Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am (Next Day)
