Position Description
The Senior OT Documentum Developer will manage and oversee the Documentum applications residing in the Shared Documentum infrastructure, including but not limited to supporting, planning, developing, re‑designing/modifying, testing, installing, configuring, and optimizing all existing and new ECM applications software based on business needs, requirements, and analysis using the OT Documentum low code workflow language and other Documentum development tools.
The Senior OT Documentum Developer will possess knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise/experience in application software development methodologies; responsible to analyze, refine and translate requirements into design; develop, test, implement, and support of new or modified Open Text Documentum applications; deploy, configure, optimize and integrate applications and components; write and maintain system documentation; database management principles including structure, design, modeling and optimization;
performance management and assessment including monitoring and managing applications performances; apply vendor provided hotfixes and patches for Documentum related applications; possess good Business Process Management (BPM) knowledge and skills in regards to OT Documentum. The Senior OT Documentum Developer will provide subject matter expertise in industry to evaluate new software technologies; work with customers, software vendors, and internal teams within the IT organization to support and or troubleshoot application related work such as customer requests and or incidents as applicable.

Additional Skills RequiredProficient in and hands‑on experience with Open Text Documentum software and components, including versions 23.2, 25.4, and 26.2, within Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. Strong knowledge of and ability to work with xCP, D2, Brava, Content Server, CTS, RestAPI Web Services, DFC, D2FS, Java/J2EE, Intelligent Capture, OTDS, and IDS. Extensive knowledge and practical experience in AWS Cloud environments, including proficiency with EKS, EC2, CLI, HELM, Docker, Ingress, Cloud Watch, Cloud Pipe, IAM, RDS, EFS, and S3.
ExperienceRequired
- Three (3) years of experience in the last five (5) years working as a senior developer with the responsibility of solution/application design in Open Text software.
- Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years working and supporting Open Text Documentum applications 7.X., 16.X, and 20.X.
- Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in developing applications using xCelerated Composition Platform (xCP) 16.X, Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC), and Java.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years in cloud development and Rest API Web Services.
- Three (3) years of experience in developing, modifying, supporting, and remediating/upgrading Open Text Documentum applications in RHEL Shared environment; including xCP, D2, Custom applications - from version 23.2 to 25.4.
- Three (3) years of experience working with Open Text Documentum 23.2, 25.4 and 26.2 software and components in RHEL environment; xCP; D2, Brava; CTS;
RestAPI Web Service, DFC, Java, Intelligent Capture. - Two (2) years of experience in managing and deploying Opentext Documentum applications in AWS environment leveraging services such as EKS, Docker, HELM, Ingress, RDS, EFS, and S3.
- Three (3) years of experience working with end-users/customers and vendors.
- Three (3) years of experience with the change management process and source control.
- Two (2) years of experience with upgrade & migration of Documentum applications from on‑premises to AWS Cloud environments.
This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Education RequiredCloud-based training certification as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA/KCSA) is required. Cloud-based training certification as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA/KCSA) is required.
Additional qualifying experience in AWS Certified Solution Architect (CSA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (KCSP) is acceptable.
