As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you'll be trained to repair and regularly service our dialysis machines. This role primarily covers the Downey, CA area with on-call pay, mileage reimbursement, and additional travel pay if outside your designated area is offered.

DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who keeps our life-giving dialysis treatments up and running every day in our clinics. • Repair and service dialysis machines to ensure reliable operation in clinical settings.
• Respond to emergency needs and provide timely maintenance and diagnostics as part of a clinic support team.
• Collaborate with DaVita teammates to communicate openly and effectively.
• Manage on-call rotations as needed to meet clinic needs.

• Mechanical abilities with repairs, strong electronics knowledge and diagnostics; prior experience in a related field is preferred. Training and certification will be provided for the right candidate.
• Great communication skills; ability to communicate openly and honestly with teammates.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot; solid computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet navigation.
• Available for on-call rotations as needed to support clinic operations.
• High School Diploma or GED required at onboarding.
• Valid driver s license and ability to drive to multiple clinics; appropriate automobile insurance and a clean driving record.
• Proximity to clinics and hospitals in the area to provide adequate emergency response coverage.

The Wage Range for the role is $31.00 - $37.50/hour.
