RN – GI/Endoscopy

Downers Grove, IL

• 2 interventional procedure rooms; 4 additional procedure rooms plus a room for manometries
• 31-40 scheduled cases/day
• 8- and 10-hour shifts
• On-call once/week; one weekend every 5–6 weeks
• Call response time: 1 hour

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS required

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication to lead efforts that create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
