CED's current salary range for this role is $20.00 to $26.50 / hour. At CED, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, location and geography. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports manufacturing operations by managing the movement of materials, parts, and finished products. The role ensures that all incoming shipments are inspected, documented, and routed to the correct staging areas, while outgoing shipments are prepared, packaged, and processed according to customer and carrier requirements. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting production schedules, while performing duties in a manner that complies with safety, quality and transportation standards.

• Prepare and ship finished customer goods utilizing established instructions and written procedures, correct standard packaging and material handling practices; generate / print bill of lading
• Assist in preparation of all shipping documentation for carrier pick up / acceptance
• Perform the regular duties of receiving incoming material, in system (ERP) receipt, deliver materials to respective staging areas
• Handle explosive devices in compliance with CED policy and procedures
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with CED’s HSE standards and in accordance with regulatory rules
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with CED’s HSE procedures, and in accordance with regulatory rules
• Perform tasks associated with preparing hazardous and / or non-hazardous waste materials for transportation as directed
• Safely and efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse with material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack)

• Pull parts for job orders and make corresponding transactions in ERP system for material transfers, manufacturing orders, etc. as directed
• Comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Ensure 100% compliance with the Chemring Operational Framework and Code of Conduct

High School diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year of pertinent experience in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse environment
• Experience in inventory counting and auditing and processing transactions is helpful

• Lawful US person (ITAR restrictions)
• Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for all employees of Chemring Energetic Devices
• Experience with cycle counts, inventory counts, inventory auditing, and product auditing is preferred
• High level of attention to detail and organization to ensure accurate and timely business transactions
• Ability to maintain forklift qualification and authorization per company policy
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, with D365 strongly preferred
• Maintain training and certifications related to hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste
