Full‑Time | Monday–Friday | 4:00pm – 12:30am

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour
Total Starting Pay (2nd Shift): $18.00 per hour

Founded in 1955, Moldtronics, Inc. is a privately held contract manufacturer located in Downers Grove, Illinois. We are ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified and specialize in custom injection molding, mold making, CNC machining, assembly, and design for manufacturing support. With tooling, machining, molding, and assembly all under one roof, we manage projects from prototype through full production. Our structured quality systems and hands‑on engineering support allow us to consistently meet the demanding standards of aerospace, defense, medical, agricultural, and commercial industries.

With a team of approximately 50–70 employees, Moldtronics combines decades of manufacturing experience with a collaborative, quality‑focused culture.

We are seeking detail‑oriented individuals to join our precision molding team. This role focuses on producing, finishing, and inspecting small, intricate components in a clean and organized manufacturing setting. This is a production‑based position with clearly defined daily output goals. Employees are trained and supported to meet quality and production standards. No prior molding experience is required – hands‑on training is provided.

• Operate small molding machines producing precision components
• Carefully trim, de‑gate, and use hand tools
• Perform visual inspections using magnification tools and microscopes
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
• Identify and report minor defects or non‑conforming parts
• Verify part quality and identify minor defects
• Package finished components according to specifications
• Complete basic production documentation

• Strong attention to detail
• Good hand‑eye coordination
• Ability to maintain a steady, consistent work pace
• Comfort working with small components
• Ability to stay focused on repetitive, quality‑driven tasks
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must successfully complete a background check
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)

• Clean, organized production floor
• Primarily standing during shift
• Frequent use of hands for small component handling
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Close vision and ability to focus on fine details
