Shipping & Receiving Coordinator II, 2nd Shift

Key Accountabilities

• Receive, count, verify and ensure accuracy of received goods; materials and items such as various metal bar stock, raw steel, flat stock, and components.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.
• Verify that materials received are as ordered. Routes incoming items within the company as directed.
• Compare identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders or records.
• Pick and Stock product orders and accurately perform ERP system transactions.
• Perform Cycle Counts on a daily basis.
• Perform Parts protection/Material handling tasks.
• Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping; prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading.
• Pick and issue raw material.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience in position or specialization.
• Strong PC skills required.
• Ability to operate trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, overhead crane or other handling equipment to move material to and from and within the facility.
• Experience using MHE preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
• Good problem solving skills. Resolving most questions and problems and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, with acute attention to detail.
• Fast learner.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Drive for continuous improvement.
• Moderate physical demand required to continuously lift or move raw material. Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs.
• Experience in Fedex, UPS, DHL parcel shipping a plus.
• Experience using ERP or WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in cycle counting and inventory control.

Compensation is based on experience: $23.00-$28.00/hr work hours will be Monday – Friday Noon to 8:00pm.
