Position: Machine Operator I, 2nd Shift

** Key Accountabilities
*** Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, Gemba boards, and verbal as well as written instructions.
* Set up, adjust and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
* Use calipers, micrometers, depth & height gauges, Sunnen gauges & plug gauges, hand tools and operator manual machines.
* Set up and/or verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required, inspect own work to ensure quality and quantity standards.
* Prepare and maintain quality records.

* Strong reliability – it is crucial that this person is able to work as scheduled in order to meet our customers’ requirements.
* Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
* Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one-year previous experience.
* Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English.
* Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
* Rotate between multiple machines, lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand for an entire shift.
* Other duties as assigned.
