DescriptionPosition at Matson Logistics, Inc. The Manager, Revenue Accounting and A/P oversees supervisors and departmental functions related to invoicing, cash application, carrier invoicing, and AP/AR balancing.
Responsibilities- Oversee all AP functions for purchased transportation expenses excluding SPAN, MLSC and MLS.
- Oversee invoicing for Transportation Brokerage excluding SPAN and MLS.
- Oversee all cash application functions for MLI, MLM, and MLW.
- Responsible for AP & AR balancing.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures and policies for process efficiency.
- Ensure teams follow internal controls and assist with SOX compliance.
- Coordinate timely department reporting to the Financial reporting team.
- Research transactions to resolve general ledger reconciling items.
- Work with Supervisors to assign tasks, cross‑train staff and balance workload.
- Collaborate with other department managers on customer and vendor requirements and dispute resolution.
- Train, motivate, evaluate subordinates and communicate goals and feedback.
- Assist with accounting functions and special projects as needed.
- Comply with company rules, safety regulations, and overall policies.
- Support customer or vendor requirements and company goals as requested.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college/university preferred;
Accounting/Finance concentration a plus. - Prior managerial experience supervising at least two associates and excellent customer‑service skills.
- Experience in a high‑volume business with >1,000 vendors and customers preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong ethics and accountability toward company’s financial resources.
- Professional and pleasant behavior in stressful situations.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
- Strong planning, prioritization, delegation and multitasking.
- Adaptability to changing customer requests.
- Typing 30+ wpm and 10‑Key proficiency.
- Previous transportation industry experience.
The annual salary range is posted for this position in Illinois and will depend on qualifications and operational considerations.
