Trossen Robotics is a 20-year robotics company powering the physical AI revolution. Our hardware is used by 400+ universities, Fortune 500 R&D teams, and leading AI labs. We were recently featured in Google Deep Mind’s Gemini Robotics research.
We are transitioning from a robotics hardware company to a full-stack platform business, layering cloud, data, and services on top of our installed base. This role helps us win that transition.
The RoleWe are looking for a marketing leader who deeply understands applied AI — not as a buzzword, but as an operational system.
You will build and run an AI-native marketing engine that:- Amplifies our thought leadership
- Converts Deep Mind-level validation into sustained pipeline
- Supports hardware growth and cloud adoption
- Extracts market insight from sales and customers
- Enables a lean team to punch far above its weight
You will report directly to the President/COO and work cross‑functionally with sales, engineering, and media.
What You Will BuildAI‑Powered Content Engine
Design a repeatable system that turns founder insight, engineering updates, customer wins, alpha programs, and conference talks into long‑form thought leadership, technical explainers, short‑form social clips, email campaigns, and sales enablement material using AI workflows to reduce manual production and accelerate output.
Voice of Customer Intelligence LoopBuild systems that transcribe and analyze sales calls, extract recurring objections and feature requests, identify patterns in early adopter feedback, and feed insights into product and GTM decisions.
Design and test AI‑personalized outbound campaigns, pipeline scoring models, automated research for target accounts, rapid creative testing using AI‑generated variants, and AI‑assisted video and demo production workflows. You should eliminate manual marketing tasks wherever possible.
Help articulate and amplify the Trossen Cloud vision — our move from hardware to platform. Position Trossen as the NVIDIA for physical AI, the Git Hub equivalent for embodied robotics, and the infrastructure provider in the physical AI gold rush.
What We’re Looking For Required- 5–10 years in marketing, growth, or GTM
- Demonstrated experience building AI workflows in production
- Comfort with APIs, automation tools, and LLMs
- Strong writing ability (technical and narrative)
- Deep curiosity about robotics, AI, or emerging tech
- Built an AI content system end‑to‑end
- Reduced manual marketing work via automation
- Worked at an AI‑native SaaS or dev‑tool company
- Operate with high ownership and accountability
- Public evidence of experimentation
- Not a pure brand marketer
- Not a social media manager
- Not a corporate committee role
Compensation Base Salary Range
$80-150K annually, depending on experience and scope.
Performance‑Based Incentive CompensationEligible for additional performance‑based bonus and/or commission opportunity of up to $25,000 annually, based on achievement of agreed‑upon growth and pipeline targets.
$100,000 – $175,000 annually depending on performance and scope.
This pay range reflects a good‑faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting, in accordance with Illinois law.
