Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Procurement Lead to assist with enhancing our procurement operations. This role is instrumental in driving enterprise-wide value through advanced analytics, supplier innovation, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in procurement systems and best practices, willingness to embrace AI technology to provide insights to influence sourcing decisions and optimize vendor performance. This is a hybrid role;
working 4 days/week in our Downers Grove corporate office and 1 day/week remotely.
As a member of the procurement team, you will lead and support complex initiatives, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and risk mitigation. You will be a thought partner to the Procurement Leadership Team, proactively identifying opportunities with supporting data and reports to elevate procurement’s impact on business outcomes
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and own procurement data governance in SAP, ensuring accuracy across vendor records, material master data, pricing, and compliance codes.
- Resolve complex data discrepancies and implement system enhancements to improve workflow efficiency.
- Manage end-to-end vendor onboarding and qualification processes, ensuring alignment with ESG and compliance standards.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a Supplier Score Card system.
- Champion the adoption of emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, automation) to modernize procurement operations and reporting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking procurement KPIs, supplier performance, cost trends, and sustainability metrics.
- Identify and implement process improvements, digital tools, and best practices to enhance procurement agility and scalability. Serve as a procurement SME in cross-functional teams, supporting enterprise-wide P2P process improvements.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a high-performing, data-driven procurement culture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field/equivalent experience
- Years of
Experience:
3+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or analytics, preferably in a global or matrixed organization. - Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CPIM, or Six Sigma highly desirable.
- Technical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Power Query, pivot tables, and complex formulas); experience with Power BI
, Tableau
, or similar tools is a plus. Strong command of SAP or equivalent ERP systems; experience with procurement modules and data integration. - Skills:
- Demonstrated ability and/or willingness to apply AI and data science techniques to procurement challenges.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $85,788-$128,682/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
