- Review timesheets in Miter for payroll processing weekly for 3 payrolls per week including union and rate switches, payroll adjustments and reimbursements for employees.
- Reviewing and researching tickets that come in for payroll adjustments
- Review payroll reports to ensure accurate processing of changes provided by HR business partners related to each pay cycle. Changes include, but are not limited to rate changes, new hires, termination payments, bonus payments, etc.
- Basic knowledge of all unions we ascend to.
- Maintain accurate pay and benefit rates in Net Suite.
- Maintain accurate records of each payroll cycle to assist in payroll union audits.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of data prepared and processed within the department.
- Completing Certified payrolls.
- Performing monthly payroll reports for each union in ADP and union portals.
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function timesheet reconciliations, including overtime rules for all unions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills
- Working knowledge of Office 365 (Excel is a must)
- 2+ years’ experience in payroll processing.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred.
Net Suite experience a plus
Miter experience a plus
Union payroll experience a plus
