We’re transforming lives and seek a compassionate, innovative Therapist to support our patients in Downers Grove.

• Assessment, Coordination & Discharge Planning
  • Meet with assigned patients to introduce self, orient them, and explain treatment goals.
  • Initiate contact with relevant family members and outpatient providers, obtaining signed releases, to develop and implement care plans.
  • Document all activities related to assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Individual and Family Therapy Services
  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy as required.
  • Document therapy sessions in the medical record per program requirements.
  • Seek clinical supervision and support as needed.
  • Facilitate specialized interventions when necessary.
• Specialized Therapy Services
  • Deliver specialized therapy including Family, Equine, Art, EMDR, and SE as assigned.
• Group Therapy / Education
  • Assist in compiling materials for group or educational sessions.
  • Support program schedule by conducting assigned components.
  • Complete syllabus or lesson plans for didactic groups as required.
  • Participate in program development and performance improvement.
• Treatment Team Member
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams.
  • Communicate clinical concerns and recommendations with the team.
• Performance Improvement
  • Participate in performance improvement activities per facility licensure and accreditation.
• On-Call Services
  • Provide on-call services as requested or assigned.
• General Skills
  • Communicate professionally and appropriately.
  • Respond to client requests, communicate in English (verbal and written) with clinical accuracy, inform patients and families of policies, and work as a team member.

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
• State license as a therapist. If holding a doctorate in Psychology, must apply for psychologist license upon hire.
• CPR & First Aid certified.
• CPI certified.
• Valid driver's license and completion of driver safety training.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Prefer experience with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) in a managed care setting.
• Prefer two years’ experience providing Family Therapy, EMDR, sex addiction or other trauma specialized therapy if tasked with specialized services.
