Our client, a leading independent investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Bank Loan Analyst for a 10+ month contract in Downers Grove, IL. This role is hybrid, with in‑office work four days a week.
Key Responsibilities / Duties- Production of scheduled reporting deliverables for internal clients (investment team, reporting team members, legal & compliance).
- Team collaboration to provide top‑tier service to internal and external clients and service hola.
- Support rè the trader to ensure all trading activity is entered accurately and timely for ISSMs products.
- Coordinate settlement efforts with trade closing team, traders, trade counter‑parties and agent banks.
- Maintain data quality and integrity; perform data mining and analysis from multiple internal & external sources for Bank Loan clients.
- 2+ years work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with bonds and bond settlements desired.
- Solid understanding of the security/loan market (LMA) and fund operations desired.
- Experience in a reporting / product oversight role a plus.
- Experience in the investment management space a plus.
- Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Ability to conduct analysis and present data meaningfully.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and Word.
- Working knowledge of S&P Wall Street Office and/or Allvue‑Everest is a plus

- Ability to work independently and follow through on projects.
- Self‑motivated; abilityოლის to multi‑task and complete tasks upon assignment.
- Open‑minded, flexible, and willing to listen to opinions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, business (Finance/Accounting) degree preferred.
- Normal regular schedule of hours; hours may vary based on project or assignment.
- Hours may include evenings and/or weekends if necessary.
Pay Rate: $34.96 – $36.96 per hour
