A DAY IN THE LIFE- Develop, manage, and maintain baseline, update, and recovery construction schedules for large-scale Mission Critical & Data Center construction projects
- Build detailed CPM schedules reflecting design‑build delivery methods, long‑lead procurement, commissioning, and phased turnover
- Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to develop and validate sequencing, durations, and logic
- Incorporate MEP‑intensive construction scopes, including electrical, mechanical, commissioning, and owner integration milestones
- Analyze critical path, near‑critical activities, float trends, and schedule risk
- Prepare schedule narratives, look‑aheads, and progress reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Support delay analysis, time impact analysis (TIA), and recovery planning when needed
- Participate in preconstruction planning, logistics reviews, and pull‑planning sessions
- Maintain schedule integrity by enforcing best practices, coding standards, and consistent updates
- Support multiple projects concurrently while maintaining accuracy and accountability
- Act as a schedule subject‑matter expert and mentor to project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of scheduling experience with a General Contractor
- Direct experience supporting data center construction, mission‑critical, or highly technical commercial projects
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) (required); experience with Microsoft Project a plus
- AACE PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) a plus
- Solid understanding of design‑build construction, data center construction, subcontractor workflows, and field operations
- Experience integrating procurement, fabrication, and commissioning milestones into construction schedules
- Ability to clearly communicate schedule risks and impacts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience supporting large‑scale or multi‑building data center campuses
