Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Procurement Analyst - Ingredients to join our procurement team. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, efficiency, and strategic value across our sourcing and vendor management processes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging AI and data analytics to optimize procurement operations, support sustainability initiatives, and enable smarter decision‑making.

This is a hybrid role; you will be required to work in our Downers Grove corporate office 4 days/week and remotely 1 day/week.
- Maintain and update procurement data in SAP, including vendor records, material master data, pricing, and tariff codes.
- Assist with resolving basic data discrepancies in SAP and ensuring system accuracy across procurement workflows.
- Support the vendor onboarding process by entering and verifying setup information in SAP.
- Help monitor commodity markets and gather insights to support sourcing decisions and risk mitigation.
- Participate in RFP data collection and assist with analysis using Excel and AI tools.
- Learn and apply emerging AI technologies to improve procurement processes and reporting efficiency.
- Contribute to sustainability efforts by helping track supplier environmental and social criteria.
- Assist in tracking and maintaining procurement metrics, including cost trends and supplier performance.
- Respond to data requests and complete updates accurately and on time to support business needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement tools and workflows and share ideas with the team.
- Lead cross‑functional procurement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely milestone delivery and effective stakeholder communication. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for new product development.
- Tackle urgent procurement challenges while maintaining focus on high‑impact, strategic initiatives
- Develop root‑cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions when problem‑solving.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
1+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance/accounting, data analytics or another business‑related field - Certifications: CPM or CPIM certification is a plus

Skills:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must have a strong understanding of the VLOOKUP function and pivot tables - Skills:
- Demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and driving them to completion to meet business objectives
- Experience with procurement system, data visualization, or AI tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written
- Thrives to work within fast paced culture and operate with significant autonomy

The pay range for this full‑time, salaried position is $58,962-$88,444/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
