Staff Accountant

Addison Group has partnered with a private-equity-backed, hyper-growth pre-IPO company to hire a Staff Accountant.

We’re searching for a detail-focused accountant who can ensure accurate reporting, maintain effective controls, and support process improvements across the business—especially through automation and cross-functional collaboration.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with accurate, timely reporting
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
• Support budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional partners
• Strengthen and monitor internal controls and ensure policy compliance
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal and external audits
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Provide clear variance analysis and insights to leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Analytical thinker with a proactive, self-starter mindset
• Skilled at navigating change and thriving in fast-paced environments
• Deep understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties
• Experience working cross-functionally and managing external partnerships

• $80,000–$90,000 base salary + 5% annual bonus
