Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee key accounting functions and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. This role focuses on managing the accounting operations rather than direct staff supervision, making it an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who thrives in ownership of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports

• Monitor compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations

• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes

• Maintain internal controls and ensure documentation supports financial transactions

• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes through accurate financial data management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems

• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
