Journeyman Lineman

Job Summary

Positions:
Journeyman Lineman ($34.88) and Apprentice I ($27.99) after probationary period, all in Dover, Ohio.

• Completion of a recognized lineworker apprenticeship training program.
• Valid Ohio Commercial Driver License.
• Knowledge of mechanical tools; ability to climb a pole; use basic line tools and identify basic line apparatus (cutouts, lightning arrestors, insulators, dead‑end bells, etc.).
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; learn principles and practices of electric line construction and maintenance.
• Excellent physical condition; perform all classes of dead work and live work up to 300 volts.
• Standard high‑school diploma or equivalent; some experience or a combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Excellent benefits. Workdays Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week (subject to additional hours by call‑out). Position is subject to pre‑employment testing.
