Position Summary

As a Senior Property Compliance Analyst, you will plan advanced work, coordinate and administer daily operations, provide strategic direction, and train and lead a team. Working with minimal supervision, you will ensure efficient completion of tasks while strengthening client relationships and contributing to team profitability.

Position Responsibilities
  • Complete tenant file compliance reviews and reports for designated clients with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct thorough engagement reviews.
  • Accept increasing responsibility for engagement management.
  • Identify potential problem areas during engagements and propose effective solutions.
  • Conduct business‑specific research, gather and analyze data, interpret results, compile reports, and make recommendations.
  • Develop, strengthen and maintain effective client relationships through professionalism and a service‑oriented approach.
  • Increase team profitability by managing time efficiently and contributing ideas.
  • Supervise and mentor property compliance analysts.
  • Lead trainings, workshops and webinars on tenant file compliance with Section 42, Section 8, or other Government Housing Programs.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of IRC Section 42 (LIHTC) and IRC Section 142 (Tax‑Exempt Bonds) including guidance such as Treasury Regulations and the IRS Guide to Completing Form 8823.
  • Knowledge of 24 CFR Part 92 HOME Investment Partnership Program and related regulations.
  • Knowledge of the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF).
  • Knowledge of Texas Local Government Code Title 9, Subtitle C, Chapter 303 and related Texas Administrative Code provisions for Public Facility Corporation Compliance Monitoring.
  • Understanding of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA).
  • Ability to direct and organize client needs, set goals, evaluate alternatives, implement solutions, develop policies, and prepare reports.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, strong relationship‑building.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow‑through.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and adjust as directed.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and report‑writing tools.
  • Professional demeanor with coworkers and clients.
  • Ability to travel domestically (25‑35 % of the time) and to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Motivated leader who inspires the best in the team and builds client confidence.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 5–7 years of direct experience in administering and monitoring IRC Section 42, IRC Section 142, 24 CFR Part 92 HOME Investment Partnership Program, particularly in income eligibility under Part 5, or an appropriate balance of education and work experience.
