Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for a Crystal Verification Technician to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight position are Sunday Night through Thursday Night 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM. Training on 1st Shift.

Anticipated Pay Range: $23-$25.50 per hour. Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.

Performs visual, real time image computer and NDT inspection on single crystal castings. The Crystal Verification Tech has nonconforming product disposition authority to review product non‑conformances as part of continuous improvement.

• Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
• Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EHS training.

• To visually inspect the grain integrity of SC and DS castings to specific customer requirements and with the aid of a real time image computer program, analyze the internal properties.
• To perform any rework operations, e.g. belting, RX, spot etch, to complete the inspection process in an expeditious manner to meet customer schedules.
• Performs other duties as might be assigned by supervision.
• Must pass visual exam.
• Must pass DS/SC level II exam for certification.

• Frequent standing and walking, frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.
