Position Overview
Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for a Receiving Team Member to join our Howmet Alloy plant located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Day Shift position are Monday‑Friday 6:00 AMlaryny 2:30 PM. New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $24.79

. The role is responsible for coordinating outside property and materials maintenance activities and ensuring waste and non‑waste materials comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of EHS values, policies, and accompanying principals.
- Comply with all department, facility, corporate, and regulatory EHS regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report all job‑related illnesses and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
- Report all safety, health, and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attend all E prácticas training.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain the housekeeping and cleanliness of the outside of the facility. Monitor the yard daily and ensure all materialssstream and equipment are stored properly, scrapped, or prepared for shipping.
- Operate yard vehicle (fork truck) as required to support removal of trash, dust, scrap, and related process wastes. Gather and place all waste in proper containers, coordinate shipment by marking, palletizing, and storing for shipment.
- Weigh incoming materials. Review documentation and inspect the condition of incoming material. localisation
- Work/communicate with Quality, Purchasing, and Suppliers to ensure proper receipt of paperwork. Communicate and document any damage or shipment issues.
- Train in Optimat and Oracle systems.
- Work closely with Charge Prep when dealing with revert and virgin elemental raw materials.
- Work closely with Production Planning in daily shipping functions to ensure finished goods are weighed and verified on time.
- Review finished goods queue and mark appropriate hoppers that need to ship.
- Weigh shipping hoppers and communicate weights to Production Planning.
- Barline inspector training preferred.
- Training required in Optimat and Oracle systems.
- Update and maintain consignment reports in Excel.
Accept materials properly labeled per OSHA and NJ Worker Right to Know Laws. - Assist and support other departments as needed, such as participation in annual physical inventory, movement of heavy equipment or materials, and forklift “skills” evaluation training.
- Operate the forklift and other duties of the receiving team member.

Basic Qualifications
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- The position entires open to export‑controlled items; employment offers are conditioned on the applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- No relocation benefit is offered. Candidates residing within a 50‑mile radius of Dover, NJ will only be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Minimum one year experience experiencing forklift operations, safety, or environmental functions.
- English language literate.
- Basic Excel knowledge.
- Must be able to read and understand digital scales and other simple weighing and measuring gauges and devices.
- Must learn and become familiar with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations.
- Knowledge of proper material handling procedures.
- Ability to interact directly with department supervisors.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
