Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for a Receiving Team Member to join our Howmet Alloy plant located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Day Shift position are Monday‑Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsible for coordinating outside property and materials maintenance activities and assuring waste and non‑waste materials are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS values and policy statements and accompanying principles.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report all job‑related illness and injuries (per Employee Handbook).
• Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EHS training.

• Maintain the housekeeping and cleanliness of the outside of the facility. Monitor the yard daily and ensure all materials/equipment are stored properly, scrapped, or prepared for shipping.
• Operate yard vehicle (fork truck) as required to support removal of trash, dust, scrap and related process wastes. Gather and place wastes in proper containers, coordinate shipment by marking, palletizing, and storing for shipment. Operate a fork truck to load and unload trucks and move virgin raw materials, finished goods, revert, and indirect materials around.
• Weigh incoming materials. Review documentation and inspect condition of incoming material.
• Work/communicate with Quality, Purchasing, and Suppliers to ensure proper receipt of paperwork. Communicate and document any damage or issues with shipments.
• Training in Optimat and Oracle systems.
• Work closely with Charge Prep when dealing with revert and virgin elemental raw materials.
• Work closely with Production Planning in daily shipping functions to ensure finished goods are weighed up and verified on time.
• Review finished goods queue and mark appropriate hoppers that need to ship.
• Weigh shipping hoppers and communicate weights to Production Planning.
• Barline inspector training preferred.
• Training required in Optimat and Oracle systems.
• Update and maintain consignment reports in Excel.
• Accept materials properly labeled in accordance with OSHA and NJ Worker Right to Know laws.
• Assist and support other departments as needed, such as participation in annual physical inventory, movement of heavy equipment or materials, and fork truck "skills" evaluation training when necessary.
• Operate the forklift and perform other duties of the receiving team member.

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position entails access to export‑controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within a 50‑mile radius of Dover, NJ will only be considered.

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum one year experience in forklift operations, safety or environmental related functions.
• English language literate.
