Supply Chain Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Dover, NJ

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Pay Range: $119,000 – $140,000 annually (based on experience, education, and certifications)

A leading aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its casting facility in Dover, NJ. This role is critical in aligning supply chain strategy with operational execution to meet business objectives. You will lead a cross-functional planning team, integrating forecasting, scheduling, inventory management, and customer interface across internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead and develop a team of production planning and supply chain professionals.
• Own the master scheduling process, ensuring synchronization of customer orders, plant capacity, material availability, and labor constraints.
• Collaborate with customer service to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery.
• Drive proactive backlog management and forecasting updates.
• Partner with procurement on supplier performance and risk mitigation.
• Act as the primary interface with operations and engineering for material planning and NPI readiness.
• Deliver performance metrics such as OTD, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and cost reductions.
• Lead SI&OP processes and monthly forecasting reviews.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of supply chain management experience, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree or certifications (APICS, CPIM).
• Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
