Job Description
Join our client’s team as an Electronics Quality Inspector in Dover, NH, where precision meets purpose. You’ll be responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies and mechanical hardware to ensure compliance with engineering documentation and quality standards.
Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (10-hour days)
Part-Time Option: 32 hours/week, 8-hour shifts Tuesday–Friday
Flexible Start Window: Between 5:00 AM – 6:30 AM
Pay Range: $20–$23/hour (DOE)
Temp to Hire
Weekly pay on Fridays!
Responsibilities- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic and mechanical components
- Verify product alignment with latest configuration documentation
- Identify non-conforming items and generate Defect Reports
- Support defect tracking and evaluation under QA Manager guidance
- Use measuring instruments and magnification tools to assess quality
- Document inspection results per our Quality Management System
- Interpret engineering prints, process instructions, and quality policies
- Perform administrative tasks using computer systems for circuit board inspection
Tools &
Skills:
- Measuring instruments: micrometer, caliper, dial calipers, multi-meters (Required)
- Magnification devices: microscope
- Proficient in units of measure
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Perform basic math
- Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-610 noted), ASTM, and Military Standards a plus
- Electro‑mechanical assemblies understanding helpful
- Electronics experience (Required)
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years electronics inspection experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience using precision measurement tools
Preferred
Skills:
- Ability to read/write English
- Interpret work instructions, drawings, sketches, test procedures
- Record accurate inspection data; write concise reports
- Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines
- Adaptable to various job assignments with minimal supervision
- Military experience or familiarity with military standards is a plus
