PositionSummary
The Facilities Technician I is an entry level position that supports the facilities' needs of the organization. This includes (facilitating through vendors) routine building maintenance tasks such as carpentry, electrical, heating and ventilation, and resolving reported facility issues through a ticketing system. This role actively performs preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the buildings are well‑maintained.
The Facilities Technician I is responsible for communicating with third‑party vendors as needed and will visit multiple locations as required to complete job tasks.
- Duties include extensive communications, including but not limited to verbal, written, and electronic interactions and collaborations with individuals on a daily basis to provide exemplary service.
- Provides daily support for General Services operations.
- Manages and closes assigned service tickets in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with third‑party vendors for both scheduled and ad‑hoc service needs.
- Travels to various Lighthouse Credit Union locations as required.
- Performs recurring routine maintenance and operational tasks.
- Follows established daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checklists.
- Supports third‑party vendor‑managed maintenance activities.
