Position: Travel Microbiology Medical Technologist - $2,303 per week

  • Seeking a Microbiologist for a 12 week assignment at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
  • 5x8 shifts, 40 hours/week.
  • Must live greater than 50 miles from Dover, NH.

    Additional Details

  • Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
  • N95 fit test within 365 days to start date and updated annually; no fit testing onsite; updates can be done at Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket if traveler extends beyond original assignment.
  • Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
  • Strongly preferred record of 3 Hep B vaccines or proof of immunity or declination.
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30); no exemptions or waivers considered.
  • Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break, or documentation of a negative Quanti

    FERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.
  • Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break.
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years and updated upon expiration preferred.
  • MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break (>30 day break for Wentworth Douglas).
  • Include past 7 years of work experience with city & state for submission.
  • Attestation as part of Fit Test Record form and RMC questionnaire completed prior to fit testing and updated if medical status changes.
  • 2 recent references, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in skillset.
  • Required submission documents include MGB Skills Checklist, MGB Resume, MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet.
  • MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions, updated if start date changes.
  • If positive TB test, documentation of chest x-ray indicating no active tuberculosis required.
  • Verified highest level education achieved required (not for CNA positions).
  • MGB SSN Trace and National Sex Offender Check run within 30 days of start and updated annually.
  • Searches of OIG, GSA, Mass Health & NH Medicaid exclusion lists with attestation required.
  • Two separate NH checks required: NH Criminal Background check and NH BEAS record check, vetted with MGH/Security.
  • TB Screening Form to determine no symptoms suggestive of TB infection must be completed prior to start and updated annually.
