Job Summary

Hours range from 7:30am - 4:30 pm M-F. This is a per diem position and will be as needed. Responsible for providing safe, courteous, and on schedule transportation to our clients.

Essential Functions
  • Follows Care Van schedules and communicates with staff regarding all aspects of clients' transportation.
  • Assists clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner.
  • Communicates any vehicle maintenance needs to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensures that vehicle mileage and maintenance logs are current.
  • Follows outlined safety protocols in emergency situations.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
  • Licenses and Credentials:
    Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required. Medical Examiner's Certificate for Fitness to Drive (C-DOTMED) - National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners required. Personal Driver's License (New Hampshire) - New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles required.
  • Experience:

    Patient Transportation Experience 1-2 years required.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Ability to work independently and/or as a team member. Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to perform work in a creative, energetic and self-directive manner. Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
