The Role

As a Family Managed Employee, you will be working directly with clients (ages 21 and younger) and families in their In Home Supports program. We are looking for motivated, dependable, and responsible individuals who will be able to meet the client’s support needs and work with them on goals and activities both in the home and in the community. This may include, but is not limited to, accessing the community, providing support with personal safety, assisting with personal care and ADLs, building communication skills, exploring vocational opportunities/providing vocational supports, managing overall behavioral needs, and developing and maintaining relationships.

About

You

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in education and should be comfortable identifying and meeting support needs and problem solving. Additionally, Family Managed Employees should be able to take direction and adapt quickly, be a self‑starter, and be willing and eager to be an advocate. Dependability, a desire to make a personal connection, and good communication skills are required.

What

We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in the human services industry preferred, as well as working with individuals with high behavioral needs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to utilize technology as needed
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability coverage
