The RoleThe Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for facilitating individual and group counselling sessions and completing necessary clinical documentation while participating within the Clinical Team to process and manage clinical decisions. This position will collaborate with organizations and service providers while also assisting in the day-to-day aspects of the Turning Point Residential Program.
What we’re looking for- MLADC required
- LICSW/ LCMHC preferred
- Must have experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
- Experience in the mental health field a plus
- Ability to collaborate with other agencies, maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Ability to use technology provided to complete essential functions of the job
