Process​/Quality Engineer Intern

Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dover is currently seeking a full‑time Process/Quality Engineer Intern, for Summer 2025, who will work alongside Process Engineers and Quality Assurance personnel on the manufacturing floor supporting/sustaining production orders to meet customer requirements/demands and assisting on projects/initiatives. Through this internship you will learn about the manufacturing processes used for electromagnetic transformers and inductors, developing process controls, troubleshooting and problem solving, and Lean manufacturing principles.

Throughout the internship you will be given the opportunity and will be expected to contribute as an active team member of Vishay HiRel Systems. This position is a great way to gain exposure to a fast‑paced production environment and work in a team setting along with Production Associates/Operators, Operations Management, and other Engineering disciplines.

We’re located southwest of downtown Dover which is the largest city in the New Hampshire Seacoast region, the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and the seventh in the U.S.A. • Assisting the Process Engineering or Quality Assurance teams as needed.
• Ensuring new products and changes to existing products can be manufactured on a repetitive basis utilizing standard materials and common manufacturing methods.
• Interacting with manufacturing floor personnel, operations support team members, purchasing and suppliers.
• Completing one or more projects as assigned.

• Schooling in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electro‑Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Minitab or other statistical techniques preferred.
• Ability to work full‑time hours during summer months.

This is an optional skill requirement focusing on database or macro development or programming experience.
