Senior Process Engineer

* Maintains and improves process capabilities using appropriate tools and applicable methodologies

* Inputs and analyses numerical data to identify patterns and relationships that can be used to develop optimal workflows and processes

* Reviews Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring systems and uses technology to achieve goals

* Drives and champions a continuous improvement culture

* Supports New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to prepare products or processes for launch

* Ensures that all local, legal and Freudenberg requirements regarding Health, Safety, and Environment are fulfilled

* Supports the creation of training documents and delivers training

* Mentors Apprentices and Technicians to increase individual and team understanding and capability

Qualificationsarrow_right

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related field required).

* 5+ years of process engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or high‑precision production environment.

* Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and applying structured problem‑solving methodologies.

* Demonstrated experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and transitioning products from development to production.

* Strong proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Power BI, Excel-advanced functions).

* Ability to evaluate and interpret numerical and performance data to identify trends, correlations, and process optimization opportunities.

* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks; certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred.
