Work hours:
20 hours per week; hybrid (1 day per week on site).
This position works in our Medical Staff Office supporting our OR Surgeons. The ideal candidate will have experience providing administrative support and collaborating with medical personnel including surgeons, midwives, nurses, etc., and have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including creating and running reports from Excel. Experience with Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs is preferred. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week on site.
EssentialFunctions
- Maintains and monitors project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organizes, attends, and participates in stakeholder meetings.
- Documents and follows up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensures project deadlines and project adherence to frameworks and documentation standards are met.
- Assesses project risks and issues and provides solutions where applicable.
- Creates a project management calendar to fulfill each goal and objective.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required;
Associate's Degree in a related field preferred. - No experience in lieu of a degree.
- 0-1 year of project support or administrative experience.
- Knowledgeable of basic business administrative principles and project management best practices.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of file management and other administrative procedures.
