AboutThe Role
Justice Works is seeking a Case Specialist to provide comprehensive case management services to children and families in our diversion program. In this role, you will assess family needs, develop individualized service plans, coordinate community resources, and provide ongoing support and advocacy.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
- Previous experience in case management or human services
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass all required background clearances
- Ability to pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
- Conduct comprehensive family assessments to identify immediate and long-term needs
- Conduct home visits, evaluate resources, and develop individualized family support plans
- Provide ongoing case management, follow-up, and crisis intervention
- Advocate for families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes
- Transport families in personal vehicle
- Strong understanding of family dynamics and related challenges
- Excellent problem-solving, advocacy, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to connect effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
