Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. You will help shape a member’s shopping experience by ensuring a clean, safe, and well-kept facility and parking area. This role requires being on your feet and moving throughout the shift with a positive attitude to deliver a great member experience.

$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility and surrounding areas; follow safety standards and procedures; conduct safety sweeps; handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to proper procedures; operate floor scrubbers; manage waste disposal in line with company guidelines. Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish low supplies.

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary.
• Contribute to a positive first and last impression for customers.
• Follow safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials; adhere to company environmental guidelines.
• Operate cleaning equipment and manage chemical supplies in a safe manner.

Minimum qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred qualifications: Listed as optional qualifications by the employer.
