SALARY RANGE: 36.17 - 56.06 HOURLY
New Sign-On: 20k sign-on bonus for Skilled Critical Care RNs on the Night Shift in Medical ICU and Neuro ICU (2026, limited time).
General SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit with a commitment to quality and safety. Professional nursing practices, requiring specialized knowledge, judgment and skill are performed in accordance with hospital policy, procedures and nursing philosophy.
Responsibilities- Provide direct, professional nursing care to a specified population of patients in the acute care setting.
- Develop a patient-centered plan of care based on individualized needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of the patient medical record.
- Counsel and educate patients and their care partner on treatment plans.
- Administer medication following the five rights of medication administration.
- Provide wound care and dressing changes, as applicable.
- Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate.
- Consult with physicians to decide on best treatment decisions when appropriate.
- Perform nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Observe and record patient behavior and response to nursing interventions.
- Demonstrate quality, safe and effective patient care.
- Provide delegation to unlicensed assistive staff and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) staff.
- Demonstrate standards of excellence which include practicing nursing with core values of compassion, accountability, respect, teamwork and integrity.
- Demonstrate understanding and execute quality and performance improvement plans (RN evaluation).
- Participate in decision making and take actions based on ethical principles (RN evaluation).
- Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
- All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.
- Education:
Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing - Credential(s):
Registered Nurse RN, Basic Life Support (BLS) - ACLS / PALS may be required per manager’s direction and timeframe; commit to seeking specialty certification within the indicated time frame during interview

Acute care experience preferred
- Education:
Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Credential(s):
Certification related to the position, if applicable. - Experience:
Critical Care experience (required for sign-on bonus)
