Registered Nurse - ICU

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ICU RN will be responsible for delivering high-acuity patient care, monitoring critical conditions, and responding rapidly to life-threatening situations. This role demands advanced clinical skills, sound judgment, and a calm, focused approach under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and continuous nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and life support measures in accordance with physician orders and ICU protocols.
• Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, cardiac monitors).
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document all nursing care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Adhere to infection control standards and ICU-specific safety practices.
• Participate in emergency codes, rapid response interventions, and resuscitation efforts as needed.
• Maintain a high level of alertness, prioritization, and clinical readiness at all times.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly during emergencies.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
• ACLS and PALS certifications.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – preferred
