LPN - Private Duty Nurse | Per Diem 80 hours per month

Christiana Care is looking for a LPN Private Duty Nurse on a per diem basis (80 hours per month) in Dover, Delaware.

We work with families and their loved one’s doctor and other health care providers to create a care plan that will meet their needs.

Christiana Care Home Health is seeking Part‑time and Per‑diem LPNs to work in Newark, Wilmington or Kent/Sussex Delaware within our Private Duty Nursing department. This exciting position offers:

• Schedule flexibility

• Provide overnight care while parents and caregivers sleep, ensuring the patient’s safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and other prescribed treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate care with the family, the patient’s physician and other healthcare professionals.
• Build positive relationships by serving in a compassionate, responsive and courteous manner.
• Work overnight and weekends.

• Delaware LPN license with at least one year of experience working in a healthcare setting—preferred.
• Associate’s degree or complete accredited LPN education program.
• Work experience in an acute or chronic care facility, or home health agency—preferred.
• Previous home healthcare and long‑term care experience—preferred.
• Must be able to attend a two‑week daytime orientation in Camden, followed by patient‑specific field orientation on night shift. Also requires a mandatory weekend per month. Some flexibility can be discussed.
• Tracheostomy and ventilator experience—plus.

Compensation:
This is a flat‑rate position; hourly rate $27.96 plus applicable differentials for working 20 or 30 hours per week per diem. Pay is based on the role and qualifications.
