Training foundry mechanic

Learning all basic techniques of forming, melting, and casting. In particular, operating, setting up, equipping, and programming die casting and punching tools.

Full-time; 40 hours/week

• Setting up and testing pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
• Operating production plants and facilities
• Melting operations; ensuring the operational readiness of foundry systems
• Handling raw materials and consumables
• Applying melting and holding processes
• Operating production plants and equipment

• Manufacturing components using the aluminum die casting process
• Ensuring the operational readiness of foundry systems
• Operating and monitoring foundry production equipment
• Differentiating between molding processes based on technical and economic aspects and preparing molds for casting
• Demolding and post-treatment of castings
• Handling of raw and auxiliary materials; use of acids, alkalis, emulsions, salts, and their solutions in compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection regulations
• Mastery of processes and equipment for melting and keeping aluminum alloys hot
• Differentiation and application of control and regulation techniques
