The Senior Analyst principal responsibility is to provide highly effective technical support for DTI’s technical infrastructure. Highly effective means that the services for the assigned assets are provided in a way that is efficient, meets the needs of the customers (both DTI and other state agencies) and customers in compliance with DTI policy and procedures. The services will be primarily rendered through a combination of personal effort, joint effort with others in the workgroup, and collaboration with other DTI staff, vendors, and customers.

Selective Requirements must be met in addition to the job requirements. Applicants who do not possess the selective requirement will not be qualified.
- Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, I/T discipline or a related field.
- Possess professional certifications commensurate with advanced technical capabilities.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in one or more of the core technical requirements and related product support in a 24x7 operational environment. Technical proficiency should be classified as advanced to expert. Experience should include installation and configuration, version testing, debugging, installation of patches, direct technical vendor interactions, tuning and disaster recovery.
- Mid-range server support – Microsoft Windows Server, Redhat Linux.
- Middleware support – SFTP, Web Sphere, Java Web Engineering Support.
- Web Engineering Support – Apache, IIS, Pcaps.
- Observability.
- Configuration management – Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or other configuration management tool.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years experience in project leadership including defining, evaluating, leading, tracking and reporting on complex multi‑resource projects.
- Possess strong analytical skills, with particular emphasis on identifying creative solutions to I/T problems within applicable constraints.
- Knowledgeable of and experienced with configuration management tools and practices.
- Criminal background check: A satisfactory fingerprint based criminal background check administered by the Delaware State Police is required as a condition of hire.
- All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. DTI participates in the Federal E‑Verify system where we will provide the federal government with each Executive Branch new hires Form I‑9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
