Salary Range: $56,139.20 – $84,219.20 per year
General SummaryWorks collaboratively as a part of the program leadership team with the Program Director and Associate Director(s) to assure program effectiveness and continued accreditation. Manages daily operational and administrative functions of the accredited residency training program.
Responsibilities- Manage program accreditation and regulatory activities, including maintaining current knowledge of ACGME, board, HR guidelines, and employment law.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and GME Administration to prepare and implement annual residency budget, review monthly budget, approve expenses, and forecast financial planning.
- Develop and manage block rotation, clinic, and didactic schedules to meet curricular requirements.
- Manage program committees (clinical competence, program evaluation), design evaluations, collect metrics, prepare annual program evaluation, and monitor action plans.
- Manage recruitment processes: market program, screen 1000+ applications, coordinate interviews for 100–250 applicants, handle post-interview activities, match day, orientation.
- Provide day-to-day program administration: monitor resident work hours, update residency management system, liaise with agencies and departments, counsel residents on policies.
- Monitor resident duty hours and case experience through data reports.
- Triage inquiries from residents and applicants to appropriate departments.
- Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Health Sciences, or related field. - Experience:
At least 3 years in medical education, project management, general management or accreditation role with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Education:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Health Sciences, or related field. - Experience:
3+ years GME-specific experience with increasing management and leadership responsibilities, experience managing a busy office environment and supervising staff, experience in higher education or hospital administration.
