The Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs is currently seeking Temporary Paraprofessionals for the school year to fulfill various needs in buildings based on student enrollment, IEP's, programming and instruction. Positions may include Instructional Paraprofessional, 1:1 Support Paraprofessional, or other specific assignments, as detailed by administration, to support student achievement and well-being. All positions are full-time.
This posting includes anticipated openings for Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs only. Positions will be assigned to John S. Charlton or ILC - various classroom locations throughout the District.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who currently hold or are eligible for an Instructional Para educator Permit are encouraged to apply.
REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for the permit, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Possess a high school diploma or recognized equivalent and achieve a passing score of 459 or higher on the Para Pro Assessment (ETS Para Pro)
- Hold an associate degree or have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution, with a grade of "C" or better in each course (final approval of accepted credits is determined by the Delaware Department of Education).

SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
