The Caesar Rodney School District is accepting applications for Assistant Principal of W. Reily Brown Elementary School. W. Reily Brown Elementary School serves grades 1-5 with ~500 students.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must possess:
  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and / or certification for School Principal and Assistant School Principal
  • Successful experience as a classroom teacher of at least 5 years;
    Elementary School experience strongly preferred
  • Successful teacher/school leadership experience preferred
  • Eligibility for DE certification as School Principal and Assistant School Principal
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of effective strategies for improvement of student learning and achievement
  • Proven ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and community
  • An ability to facilitate change for continued student improvement and staff development
  • Commitment to high academic standards

SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

  • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
