Art Education Teacher – Christina School District
DescriptionArt Education Teacher – shared between Fairview Early Childhood Center and Hartly Elementary School.
Terms of Employment10‑month employee (temporary if hired after the contractual start date for teachers).
Reports toBuilding Principal.
SalaryCurrent teacher salary schedule.
Minimum Qualifications- Must hold or be eligible to hold a Delaware State certification as an Art Teacher.
- Develop in each pupil an appreciation of art education.
- Assist in the selection and recommendation of materials, equipment, and instructional aids for the program.
- Communicate with staff and parents on pupil progress.
- Cooperate with school administration in providing an art education program for all students.
- Preferred experience working with students with disabilities and differentiating lessons to meet diverse student needs.
- Follow school policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
