The Role
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding freight forwarding company seeking an experienced Multimodal Freight Forwarder for their Dover office. You will manage end-to-end shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean, taking full ownership from booking through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Managing import and export shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean

Handling full freight and customs documentation where required

Liaising with hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, ports, and overseas agents

Providing quotations and managing shipment costs

Maintaining high levels of customer service and communication

Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple UK sites

Requirements

Proven experience in multimodal freight forwarding

Strong knowledge of UK import and export procedures

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident communication skills and commercial awareness

Experience using freight management systems such as Cargo Wise is advantageous
