Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist – North Bedfordshire – £26 Hourly

Join our team in North Bedfordshire as a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist, an exhilarating role available for a full-time opportunity. This locum position allows you to immerse yourself in meaningful work for 3 months initially, providing vital services within the community. You’ll be earning £26 per hour while making a substantial impact on the lives of those you serve.

What you will do:
  • Conduct specialised assessments, and provide expert advice, treatment, and evaluations for clients with diverse and complex needs, including neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate within a multi-professional team to deliver community-based rehabilitation, promoting independence and self-management for clients across the care continuum.
  • Operate autonomously while adhering to Health and Care Professions Council regulations, ensuring high standards of professional practice.
  • Supervise and mentor students, facilitating their development to graduate-level competence and liaising with universities to uphold educational standards.
  • Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, supporting the management structure to ensure exemplary service provision.

To thrive in this role, you must be HCPC registered and a confident car driver, ready to navigate the community setting.
