Financial Accountant - We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join our client in a dynamic international business environment based in East Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented finance professional to take ownership of reporting activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a fast‑paced organisation.

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis while maintaining strong financial controls and supporting compliance requirements.

• Lead month‑end close activities including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
• Ensure accuracy of P&L and balance sheet reporting
• Manage intercompany accounting and VAT submissions (multi‑jurisdictional)
• Support quarterly reporting, forecasting, and inventory provisions
• Assist with annual audit, regulatory compliance, and budgeting processes
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and ERP (SAP/Oracle) system support
• Contribute to finance and systems improvement projects

You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical expertise and a proactive, analytical mindset. Experience with in a corporate or manufacturing environment would be beneficial, along with exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Knowledge of UK / US GAAP would be advantageous. You are detail‑oriented, organised, and comfortable working to tight deadlines, with the confidence to communicate effectively across teams and build strong working relationships.
