, we are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic client Primary Schools in Tower Hamlets
. The school is looking for someone who can start immediately and has experience working with individual pupils and small groups
.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting young learners at a crucial stage of their education.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Support: Work closely with the Year 5 class teacher to motivate and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
- SEN Support: Provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Small Group Intervention: Deliver individual and small group support to ensure effective learning takes place.
- Student Confidence: Help pupils develop confidence and self-esteem through encouragement and tailored strategies.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- A basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies.
- The ability to boost pupils’ confidence through positive listening and support techniques.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
