Start Date: Beginning of March (transition day week commencing 23rd February)

Contract: Full time

We are also recruiting a KS3 SEN Teacher to work with a class of 10 autistic, non‑verbal students who are working below National Curriculum Year 1.

Students are sensory learners and require visuals, objects of reference and a highly structured timetable to support both learning and communication. Teaching must be practical and engaging
, with clear structure and consistency throughout the day.

You will be supported by 5 Teaching Assistants and guided through curriculum planning. The role involves delivering core subjects and leading the classroom team
, while students also access specialist teaching for Drama, Music, Art, Food Tech, DT and PE
.

All teaching should promote communication, development and independence
, with a long‑term focus on preparing students for adulthood.
