Planner​/Scheduler

Due to our continued growth Mechanica Utilities Ltd are pleased to advertise this exciting opportunity as a Planner / Scheduler
, working from our Dover HQ.

This is a key role responsible for planning and coordinating our site and workshop teams
, ensuring labour and resources are scheduled efficiently to meet operational requirements.

Location: Dover, Kent (HQ-based)
Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

• Planning and scheduling site and workshop labour
• Allocating resources efficiently to meet job requirements and deadlines
• Using EMIR Labour Scheduler and Smart Site to manage schedules
• Liaising with site teams, workshop staff and management
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date planning records
• Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts proactively

• Highly organised
  , methodical
  , and detail-oriented
• Confident working with scheduling systems and computer software
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Able to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in planning, scheduling, or engineering environments is advantageous but not essential
• No technical engineering experience required – full training will be provided

• Monday to Friday working hours (no weekends)
